I am very delighted to welcome you to this great citadel of learning – Bishop Otubelu Nursery and Primary School.In our 10 years of existence, we have continued to blaze the trial of qualitative education in our environment through hard work.
At BONPS, we believe that learning should be child-centered with every child given freedom to explore in an atmosphere of love, trust and mutual respect. Our care giving is compassionate.
Pastoral care: As part of our mission, the spiritual aspect of our pupils’ growth is given serious attention. Weekly moral instruction programme is held by our team of priests to instill good morals in the children.
Classroom: We operate a moderate classroom size with two teachers per class.This way, we promote teacher-child relationship and give room for every child to develop individual talents. We understand that children learn at varying pace, that is why we give room for self-discovery and ensure no child is left out.
Curriculum: With our rich UBE curriculum and extra-curricular activities, our children are assured of all round education. We strive to empower every child in a way that he/she can fit into the society as the world changes. Our aim is to raise individuals that are open minded, confident and kind with positive attitude towards the future.
Our graduating pupils, while leaving BONPS know their worth and how much they are valued by all of us. That is the confidence they take with them as they move on to higher grounds.
